The Detox Diet

So a coworker was talking about how she is going on a detox diet by only eating raw fruits and vegetables and only grilled/boiled chicken and fish (with no salt), I decided to go on it.

I went to H-Mart and bought a whole bunch of fruits, vegetables and chicken.

It's only be day one but man I want to eat fried foods, bread, and sweets.

Slowly, I'll be drinking fresh lemon juice, organic maple syrup, cayenne pepper, and water to clean my system out.

The reason to do this???

1) Clean my system out. Ever since working in the restaurant, I've been eating like crap. I would love to eat wings, fries and burgers everyday but that would be so bad for my body.

2) Lose some weight. Went up 2 pant sizes....not good. Need to be sexyboy!!! Making those girls faint when they see me...haha

3) Try something new.

It will be a challenge when I go out to eat with friends and stuff. I heard a friend that was going into body building, bringing his own food when his friends went out. I think I will be that person.

I just saw Twilight

I just saw this movie because I was watching the 2009 MTV Movie Awards and the trailer for New Moon actually looked exciting. I didn't know Twilight had werewolves, so because of the trailer I wanted to see what the hype was all about with Twilight. A lot of my female friends have either watched the movie, read the books, or both. Also when it comes to fiction novels and movies, I always enjoyed vampire movies like Blade, Brahm Stoker's Vampires, Dusk Till Dawn, John Carpenter's Vampires, and Underworld.

So I watched the movie and I have to say it was entertaining. Here are my thoughts.

1) Bella is stupid. If a guy was acting all creepy, moody, mysterious, and is a freaking vampire....wouldn't you run the other way?

2) I could see why females love Edward because he portrayed all that "mystery" and "adventure".

3) Robert Pattison looks weird. His facial appearance fits the movie but in real life.....kinda of weird looking don't you think?

4) The relationship between Bella and Edward is very Korean Drama like.

5) Twilight is a fiction romance story. It's popularity is equivalent to the Titanic when it come out. It's this highschool generation's "Titanic". Just like any other romantic movie or comedy...it sets unrealistic expectations in in relationships.

Anyways looking forward to "New Moon".

Did you know Taylor Lautner (aka Jacob Black in Twilight) almost wasn't going to be in "New Moon" because they wanted a bigger, muscular guy to portray being a werewolf. So he worked out like crazy and put on 20lbs of muscle. Crazy!

Anyways I hear there is this whole Team Edward vs Team Jacob thing going in the Twilight series. I pulling for Team Jacob because: 1) I cheated and read the plots on wikipedia and I feel bad for Jacob. He's like James Marsden in all the movie roles he plays. In the love triangle, he always get the short end of the stick. Example: Notebook, Enchanted, and Superman Returns.
